When I am asked to describe what it is I am doing when I create 3D graphics, I have to say, "It is like playing with LEGO® without gravity. The design tools on our 3D illustration shelf are Adobe Dimensions, Bryce 5, KPT Vector Effects, Poser 4 and Pixar Typestry. I am having the most fun when I am mixing up the features of all of these different applications into one scene. I may take DXF files from one and export them to another to use the image skins in that app. 3D design and illustration truly is a world of its own. |
